Core Concepts
- We are all a part of, a spark of, the divine.
Afterlife
- There is an afterlife. This is not so much a binary distinction between the “living, incarnate” world and the afterlife - ours is simply one of many (infinite?) planes of reality designed for us all to experience life as a human being - with all of the joy, tension, frustration, fear and happiness that entails.
- Our earthly drives, motivations, intentions and actions are responsible for our future afterlife environment and experiences.
- Our level of spiritual awareness and understanding will also influence our immediate afterlife experience.
- There is no hiding the real you.
- There are realms more angelic, beautiful and all-loving that we can possibly conceive of. The opposite also holds.
- There is no externally imposed punishment as such in the afterlife. Any “punishment” is self-induced, and comes from having to face the actions, deeds, thoughts and emotive states of our incarnate lives, and accepting the consequences of these.
- “Hell” is a relative term. It is not an oubliette one falls permanently into, but an experience into which one can find oneself subsumed if incarnate actions and drives are suitably negative.
- The afterlife realms seems to be alive with a state of constant evolution and growth towards ever greater connection to the divine source.
- On passing we will all undergo a life review. During this, we experience all events and experiences in our life, and more importantly, the impact these have had on those around us.
Incarnation and Life Purpose
- We incarnate to experience certain things: challenges to overcome, missions to accomplish, roles to play. Ultimately we are able to choose whether we wish to act to fulfill these, or to simply “be”. We are not coerced into adhering to these, and many of us will simply have forgot why we are here and what we are here to do.
- Its not out of the question that we will receive clues, prods and nudges along the way, some more overt than others.
- Those who explicitly reject these concepts and any notion of an afterlife (e.g., strict “rationalist”, materialist, atheistic individuals) are quite possibly playing a role as important as any other soul.
- Our earthly lives are here to be experienced. Becoming preoccupied with the afterlife to the detriment of this earthly incarnation may itself represent a wrong turn and a missed chance.
